David Owens specializes in civil defense litigation, with emphasis on commercial and environmental litigation. He has extensive experience defending Fortune 500 companies in products liability, premises liability, complex toxic tort, and personal injury litigation before state and federal courts. Mr. Owens represents individuals and companies in a broad spectrum of cases, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
Mr. Owens has served as national defense counsel for a major petrochemical company, an international products manufacturer, and a respiratory protection company. He is devoted to obtaining a successful outcome for his clients by implementing a cost-effective litigation strategy actively participating in trial strategy, case preparation, legal research, hearing advocacy, and trial preparation. Additionally, Mr. Owens has negotiated dismissals of multi-million dollar claims asserted against companies large and small.
Mr. Owens has recently joined Jones Carr Mc Goldrick, LLP. He has prior experience as an attorney with a large international law firm, felony criminal prosecutor, and judicial law clerk.
