Steven W. Hopkins | Associate
Steve Hopkins maintains a diverse practice of civil litigation, toxic tort, and employment law in state and federal courts throughout the country. Mr. Hopkins brings a wealth of commercial litigation experience and has handled a wide range of business and employment-related disputes, including FLSA defense work. His toxic tort defense work centers around the firm’s nationwide defense of products liability cases involving allegations of liability against providers of services in the chemical and recycling industries.
Before attending law school, Mr. Hopkins served as a fundraiser for several non-profit organizations, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the American Lung Association. He previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Barbara J. Houser (U.S. Bankr. N.D. Tex.), and assisted Judge Houser with legal research and writing during a time frame (2008-2009) in which bankruptcy filings occurred at a near record pace.
